Award-winning performers Shana Farr and Craig Rubano, whose credits span concert stages and Broadway (Les Misérables, The Scarlet Pimpernel), bring their theatrical and vocal artistry to Kern’s extraordinary songbook.
Jon Weber, Musical Director

About the Event

ALL THE THINGS YOU ARE is more than a Jerome Kern revue—it is a romantic musical journey told through the songs of one of Broadway's greatest composers.

Jerome Kern gave the American Songbook some of its most enduring melodies—songs that defined Broadway, Hollywood, and generations of performers. With warmth, wit, humor, and heartfelt emotion, Shana Farr and Craig Rubano bring these beloved songs to life in an intimate theatrical concert directed by the music itself. Acclaimed pianist Jon Weber provides the musical foundation with many of the original arrangements created by the legendary Steve Ross.

Drawing from Kern's remarkable collaborations with Oscar Hammerstein II, Dorothy Fields, Ira Gershwin, P. G. Wodehouse, and others, the evening unfolds like a miniature musical play, with each song revealing another chapter in a timeless journey of love, longing, heartbreak, humor, and hope.

Featuring beloved standards including “Smoke Gets in Your Eyes,” “The Way You Look Tonight,” “Can't Help Lovin' Dat Man,” “Long Ago (and Far Away),” “A Fine Romance,” and the immortal title song, All the Things You Are celebrates the genius of Jerome Kern and the extraordinary ability of song to tell the stories we all recognize in ourselves.

Jerome Kern forever changed American musical theatre by marrying sophisticated storytelling with unforgettable melody. All The Things You Are celebrates that legacy by allowing his songs to become a complete theatrical experience—one that is humorous, romantic, nostalgic, and deeply moving.
