Blithe Spirit features Noël Coward's expertly crafted and effervescent dialogue swimming in dry martinis. Coward's literary style and theatre talent conjures the evanescent magic of swift and spinning entertainment with this high-spirited British drawing room comedy. High jinx and hilarity abound as Charles Condomine, noted novelist, tries to navigate his life between two wives, one worldly and one otherworldly. After he invites a medium, Madame Arcati,to conduct a seance his deceased first wife materializes but only to him. And that's when the fun begins. This delightfully charming revival in three acts is presented by The Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church Theatre Fellowship in an Equity Showcase performance.
