PHILOSOPHY
"There is so much more to discover about life when you learn to listen to your creative senses. . .the senses that make up our individual image-nations. New ideas, stories, music, art, technology are all created within these worlds and that's the power of imagination."
"After imagination comes inspiration. I have been inspired by so many things in life - music, people, nature, art, literature, almost everything around me. I strongly believe that we, as individuals, must first recognize what inspires us, then take the time to appreciate it, and finally pass along that inspiration to the younger generations."
Last is harmony - in all definitions of the word, but most importantly in the music sense. Music is a language that has no boundaries. It's a method of communication that needs no words to be understood. It's a way to express emotions."
SHANA FARR
Shana Farr had a song in her heart when she moved to New York, but she fell in love at Harry Winston. While building her singing career, Shana climbed the ranks at the luxury jeweler learning the importance of design and detail, to ultimately become the Global Director of Merchandise. It was common for Shana to leave the office after a day of design development, and then head to rehearsal for an operetta such as "The Yeomen of the Guard" in which she performed the lead role at New York City Center. Never choosing one career over the other, Shana's commitment to both has now led to the launch of Pure Imagination by Shana Farr -- her new line of jewelry that evokes imagination, inspiration, and harmony. The creation of Pure Imagination began three years ago when, at the same time, she decided to produce her first supper club show Pure Imagination inspired by the lyrics of the popular song. Shana has now played to the great cabaret rooms of New York including Feinstein's at the Regency. She has received rave reviews for her performances at New York City Center, with the Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera, among others. When Shana decided to leave her successful stint as Director of Merchandising at Samuel Aaron where she developed unique designs seen at Macy's, JC Penneys, Sam's Club, and shopping channels around the world, she knew it was time to make the entrepreneurial jump. She knew what was missing most in the cluttered jewelry marketplace - Pure Imagination by Shana Farr.
PURE IMAGINATION
Pure Imagination by Shana Farr is America's first jewelry collection that is designed to create an interactive bond with the person who wears a signature piece. Uniquely a professional singer and jewelry designer by trade, Shana Farr listens to her creative inner voice as she fashions collections that can carry secret messages and have a private, personal meaning for the jewelry lover. Designed to unlock the imagination of the woman who wears her exquisitely crafted silver jewelry, Shana Farr instills a message of sentiment into every piece. Her iconic Fortune Cookie pendant opens to reveal a personal message inside. Secret Garden spells out memories in heirloom-inspired, intricately filigreed lockets. Her whimsical Bouquet traces the fluidity of laced petals of the spinning make-believe flowers."I want my jewelry to inspire imagination, to have a purpose, and to make the woman feel good about herself. To discover her beauty within which in turn will bring out her strength and confidence."
